Christopher Columbus was toppled in Richmond, Virginia.

The Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A. statue of the colonizer1 responsible for the genocide2 of Indigenous people was torn down by the people during the Uprising of 2020.

The statue, formerly of Byrd Park, was toppled, set on fire, and dragged to a nearby lake.3
